Eligibility & General Instructions
- Submit online through the abstract portal only. Abstracts sent by email or post are not accepted.
- Write and present your abstract in English.
- Use Arial, size 11, and follow the abstract structure below.
- Spell out each abbreviation the first time you use it.
- Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
- Abstracts are published as submitted, so check spelling, grammar and accuracy before you send.
- The Scientific Programme Committee may reject an abstract that is hard to read, or ask for it to be revised.
- You are responsible for ethics approval. For case reports and case series, get patient consent and remove anything that could identify the patient.
Abstract Structure
Title
- Capitalise the first letter of each word.
- Use no more than 30 words.
Author Information
- List every author's name and institution.
- Mark the presenting author. Add 2027 requirements.
Abstract Body
- Use the headings Background, Methods, Results and Conclusion. Case reports may use their own structure.
- Word limit: add limit.
Keywords
- Give up to five keywords. Confirm.
Tables and Figures
- Rules on number and format of tables and figures. Add 2027 rules.
